THE PURPOSE
The preservation of the history of HATS.
To catalog Wendy Ann's House of Hats Collection. Collectors work at creating the collection that they have envisioned and they don't want to break it up. Unfortunately the reality is that it's not easy to sell entire large collections, especially items that take up a lot of space. I am working on cataloging my collection so that I can preserve it and show it in the way I have envisioned. I hope to find the best possible homes for the hats; the selling of the hats will help finance the continuation of cataloging and preservation of the collection.
To bring together the hat community including museums, collectors, researchers and milliners and providing a resource for hat research.
